Getting started

Pool League Pro is a dedicated website for your league — not a shared directory of every league on the internet. Supporters, captains, and players visit your domain (or a subdomain we host for you) and see only your competitions, teams, and results.

What happens after you order

1. We create an isolated copy of the platform for your league.
2. We point your chosen address at it — either a subdomain such as yourleague.plpro.uk, or a domain you already own.
3. You receive a super-admin login. That account can do everything: branding, teams, fixtures, users, and email.

Recommended setup order

1. Settings — league name, tag line, logo, theme colours, default light or dark mode.
2. Venues — pubs and clubs where matches are played (maps and photos optional).
3. Teams — attach each team to a home venue.
4. Players — add squads, then optionally invite them to claim accounts.
5. Match formats — define how many singles/doubles frames a night consists of, and how points are awarded.
6. Season + competition wizard — create the league or cup and generate fixtures.
7. Team admin users — captains can enter scores without seeing the whole back office.

You can skip around this list, but fixtures need teams (or players) and a match format before the wizard can generate a full schedule.
