Questions secretaries ask
Beta pricing, who can enter scores, cups vs leagues, and what happens when the season ends.
Is it really free right now?
Yes. While we are in beta you can request a full league site at no charge. When beta ends, continuing leagues pay £60 per year. There is no extra fee per team or per player.
Do supporters need logins?
No. Results, tables, fixtures, brackets, news, and most profile pages are public. Logins are for the committee, captains, and players who want a portal.
Can two divisions share a squad?
Players belong to a team record. Put teams into the competitions they play. If someone turns out for two sides, create the player on the correct team or talk to us about how you want dual registration handled before the season starts.
Who enters the score on a Monday night?
Usually the team admin (captain) opens the scorecard, fills frames, optionally goes live, then finalises. Super admins can always correct a card later. Named players can score individual and doubles cup ties from the player portal.
What if we rearrange a match?
Edit the fixture date, time, or venue in Admin → Fixtures. The public Match Hub follows the stored date, so the carousel stays accurate.
Can we run cups as well as a league?
Yes. The wizard supports league, team knockout, singles knockout, and doubles knockout. Cups use draw/bracket tools instead of a table.
Do we lose last season?
Competitions stay attached to their season. Mark the new season as active so the homepage focuses on current nights, while older seasons remain available in the competitions and fixtures filters.
Can we keep our existing domain?
Yes. Point it at the site we provision, or start on a subdomain such as yourleague.plpro.uk and add a custom domain later.
